JOB DESCRIPTION
M.A.P WA is recruiting for a Quality Assurance Manager to play a key role in driving food safety and quality culture across the site, ensuring the site remains compliant with regulatory, certification/customer standards and internal policies.
Reporting to the Head of Site, this role will be responsible for:
* Owning and managing all quality and food safety activities on site
* Partner with production teams daily to achieve compliance
* Conducting internal audits, manage certifications and close out non-conformances
* Overseeing compliance with CFMSR, HACCP, GMP
* Developing and updating SOPs, and other key documentation
* Managing packaging updates regarding content and design, including, PREP analysis, approval process and marketing design panels
* Leading investigations and implement corrective actions for food safety incidents
* Providing leadership, coaching and mentoring opportunities for personnel under your control
JOB CRITERIA
This position will suit an experienced Quality Assurance Manager, with skills across a variety of Food groups particularly red meat. You will also have demonstrated experience as a people leader.
* Relevant qualification in Food Science or related discipline
* 4+ years experience in Quality systems management within a food industry environment
* Beneficial experience: Aus-Meat, HACCP, CFMSR
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent understanding on traceability programmes and verification
