A job that is both challenging and rewarding is available for an Aquatic Centre Duty Officer. This role involves working in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of the aquatic centre, maintaining high standards of service delivery, venue presentation, safety and security.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement operational systems and procedures to ensure all venue operational requirements are met.
* Supervise aquatic centre staff while on shift, providing guidance on safe operations and tasks.
* Carry out and lead emergency response activities and plans in line with the Centre's Emergency Management response plans.
* Ensure lifeguards carry out their duties in terms of NSW Health Department, Council and Occupational Health and Safety guidelines.
About You
For this role, we are looking for someone who has the following qualifications and skills:
* A current Senior First Aid Certificate Level 2 and current CPR.
* A Royal Life Saving Lifeguard Licence.
* A Certificate III in Aquatics (SIS30110) or equivalent.
* A Working with Children Check.
