About the role
Responsible for proactively maintaining existing customers. Providing support, processing quotes, and managing sales opportunities while maintaining CRM accuracy. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this is an office-based role with occasion travel to key clients and trade shows.
Duties
* Maintain relationships with existing key customers
* Provide bespoke support and solution selling
* Manage & quote new opportunities that are generated through inbound leads & enquiries
* Conversion / administration of sales opportunities from quote to order
* Provide market intelligence and customer feedback as required
* Record, manage and maintain all activities in CRM
* Actively support and model the values of the organisation
Skills & experience
* Sales or proactive customer service/ account management experience in a B2B environment. Ideally within construction, civil, plumbing or building related industry, however this is not mandatory as you will be well supported by a technical team
* Flexibility / Adaptability - A proactive approach to supporting colleagues and contributing to the success of the company
* Ideally experience with longer lead time environments
* CRM management
* Strong time management
* Experience working in an autonomous environment and / or with a small team
* Substantial & ongoing investment in people and equipment
* Supportive, stable privately owned Australian manufacturer
* Regarded as industry leaders who can provide solutions that others are unable to do
