About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a proactive Safety Leader to oversee safety across all sites. Reporting to the General Manager, in this newly established role, you will shape the company-wide safety culture, set strategic direction, and ensure initiatives align with business goals.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive safety strategy for Norwest
* Work closely with operational and business leaders to ensure that the Workplace Health and Safety Plan is met
* Drive a strong safety culture across multi-site operations and all levels of the organisation
* Analyse incident trends, and provide recommendations to executive leadership
* Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety culture, engagement, and performance
* Develop and maintain relationships with client leaders, both internal and external
* Ensure that Norwest meets or exceeds legislative and compliance requirements in all areas of safety
