As Fitters and Aluminium Fabricators, you will:
- Measure openings, square frames and verify levels
- Cut, drill and assemble aluminium sections and hardware
- Install glass into frames for windows, doors, partitions and shopfronts
- Seal, glaze and finish to spec for weather, thermal and acoustic performance
- Read and interpret drawings and site plans
- Use hand and power tools safely
- Liaise with builders, site managers and clients on progress

Fitters and Aluminium Fabricators - Skills and Experience
To succeed as Fitters and Aluminium Fabricators you'll have:
- Australian or New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Residency
- Proven experience in aluminium fabrication and glass installation
- Ability to read drawings and follow technical specs
- Safe tool handling and working at heights competence
- Blue or White Card, valid driver licence and reliable transport
- Ability to obtain police check and first aid certificate
- Robust attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Glazier, installer, aluminium window and door installer, and shopfront installer backgrounds all align with the Fitters and Aluminium Fabricators role.
