Regional Tobacco Coordinator
The Regional Tobacco Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the Tackling Indigenous Smoking (TIS) Program across the region. This role will lead a team of Tobacco Action Workers to promote, undertake and support a range of programs, activities, promotions and workshops to address quitting smoking and contribute to the development and provision of regional TIS campaigns.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the program operates cohesively across the region.
* Lead a team of Tobacco Action Workers and supervise, mentor and support staff.
* Coordinate and manage program activities, events, promotions and workshops.
* Oversee line management and team coordination for the TIS program and Youth Action team.
Qualifications
* Strong cultural understanding and respectful community engagement.
* Ability to deliver culturally responsive education sessions in schools, workplaces and community settings.
* Experience in community engagement and/or event coordination.
* Passion for working with youth, schools and aboriginal communities.
* Confidence to supervise, lead, mentor and support staff.
