What You’ll Do:
* Invoicing & Billing: take ownership of the full invoicing lifecycle: issue customer invoices promptly, ensure they meet internal and contractual standards, and resolve discrepancies swiftly to keep the cash flowing smoothly.
* Credit Control & Payment Tracking: keep a sharp eye on outstanding receivables, proactively follow up on overdue accounts, and partner with customers to overcome payment challenges—all while safeguarding strong relationships.
* Drive Financial Reporting & Reconciliation: maintain spotless AR records, reconcile balances with the general ledger, produce timely aging reports, and deliver insightful analysis on collections and cash flow to support strategic decision-making.
About You:
* Working with Children Blue Card (or the ability to obtain).
* Experience & Education: 5+ years accounting experience in a similar role & tertiary qualifications (or working towards).
* Software & Tools: advanced MS Excel, Pronto or similar accounting programs.
* Analysis & Reporting: detail-focused, skilled with AR aging reports and cash flow analysis.
* Communication & Customer Engagement: clear, professional and client-facing skills.
* Organisation & Time Management: multitasker who meets deadlines and prioritises efficiently.
* Problem-Solving & Innovation: solution-oriented mindset, with openness to improving processes.
* Understanding of lifesaving or a similar community based organisation (highly desirable).
