This maternity leave relief position located in Moree is perfect for those ready to jump in and become a valued part of the team.

Your role as a Family Support WorkerAs a Family Support Worker, you will provide short term support to young people aged 0-18 years and their families, helping them navigate challenges and access essential services.
Your work will make a real difference in their lives and the broader community.You'll have the opportunity to:Provide practical and emotional support to young people and families in need.Work collaboratively with children, parents, and caregivers to promote well-being.Connect families with appropriate services and community resources.Develop and implement tailored support plans.Maintain accurate records and report on client progress.Step into a role where your compassion meets action and where you'll be part of something meaningful, powerful, and rewarding.
Desired Skills and Experience What you'll bringRelevant qualifications in welfare or related fields and/ or demonstrated extensive experience working with families with complex needs.Experience in Case Management education program delivery, development, implementation, coordination, review and evaluation.Demonstrated experience working with complex families who may be difficult to engage.Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and CALD communitiesDemonstrated experience in developing working relationships with multi-faceted services.Current driver's license and ability to travel regularly where overnight stays may be required.How to ApplyTo apply, please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your experience, qualifications and interest in the position.For more information or role related queries please contact Meghann Stanton at Closing date for applications: 4pm, 12th of September 2025 however interviews will be scheduled as applications are received.
