Exciting opportunity to join the leadership team at Mertome Aged Care Home as a Clinical Nurse Manager.
Located in the heart of Bayswater, Mertome offers high-level and respite care, including dementia support, with a range of purpose-built amenities and welcoming communal spaces set within the landscaped gardens of Mertome Retirement Village, complete with internal courtyards and resident-friendly animals.
About the role
Reporting to the Executive Manager, and supported by a Deputy Director of Nursing, you will be instrumental in the development and implementation of procedures to ensure each resident's clinical and care requirements are met, while providing clear communication to families.
Your clinical and leadership experience will be invaluable as another key focus of your role is delivering clinical supervision to our team of Registered Nurses.
Your well-honed communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills are easily demonstrated when leading inter-disciplinary teams, as well as providing relationship-centred care that ensures the dignity and respect of all residents.
What you'll bring
Tertiary qualification (Bachelor or higher) in Nursing and AHPRA registration
Extensive experience as a nurse in the aged care sector
Strong communication skills, with an ability to provide instruction to nurses and build strong relationships with residents and their families
Eagerness to learn and develop management skills
NDIS Worker Screening Check
