Our team is seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our payroll operations. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for processing payroll for a large organization using MS Office Suite and HR operating systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Process payroll: Utilize advanced financial skills to manage payroll data, reconcile accounts, and apply sound financial judgment in decision-making.
* Maintain compliance: Ensure adherence to Australian salary, superannuation, taxation, salary sacrifice, salary packaging, and best practice regulations.
* Analyze data: Use business acumen to analyze payroll data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Computer skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HR operating systems is essential for success in this role.
* Australian knowledge: Knowledge of Australian salary, superannuation, taxation, salary sacrifice, salary packaging, and best practice regulations is mandatory.
* Time management: Excellent time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are necessary to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
* Experience: Previous experience working within a large Human Resource and Payroll operating system is highly desirable.
