We currently have an opportunity available for capable and experienced road works plant operators to join a roads maintenance team based at Ballina.
This role will involve general labouring as well as plant operations on various machines such as rollers, loaders, skid-steer and excavators.
HR licence with truck driving experience would also be highly advantageous.
Commencing late January, this role will involve working full time hours for a period of approximately 6 months initially with potential for further work, depending on satisfactory performance and operational needs.
An attractive hourly pay rate is being offered, including overtime penalties for additional hours of work.
Note: these roles will involve travelling and staying away for up to a week at a time, with regular overtime required.
Successful Applicants will need;
Current WHS White Card
Worker On Foot card - or willingness to obtain prior to start of work (online link able to be provided for successful applicant)
Unrestricted driver licence - with HR licence or above
Traffic control ticket/s - preferred but not essential
good all round fitness for manual work tasks
previous experience with road construction or maintenance will be highly regarded
