We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager to support our clients Restaurant Manager in leading front-of-house operations. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll help guide the team, deliver outstanding guest experiences, and contribute to the ongoing success of one of the Sunshine Coast’s most celebrated dining destinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily FOH operations with a strong focus on service excellence
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of waitstaff, bartenders, hosts, and baristas
- Ensure guests enjoy a warm, seamless, and memorable dining experience
- Work closely with the kitchen and management teams to ensure smooth FOH/BOH coordination
- Foster a culture of professionalism, positivity, and hospitality while maintaining a vibrant team atmosphere
- Uphold compliance with licensing, safety, and workplace requirements
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- Proven experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, Supervisor, or senior leadership role in a busy hospitality environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a dynamic team
- Solid knowledge of Italian cuisine, wine, and beverage service
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences
- Outstanding communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

- Full-time availability, including peak holiday periods (December and January are essential)
- Reliable own transport (limited public transport options available in the evenings)
