This is a full-time, permanent position suitable for candidates with prior experience in horticulture, grounds maintenance, or related outdoor trades. The successful applicant will lead a small team responsible for maintaining parks, gardens, and open spaces while contributing to a variety of landscape maintenance tasks. Key Responsibilities - Perform general landscape maintenance, including mowing (both ride-on and push), edging, and whipper snipping. - Operate and maintain commercial landscape equipment and machinery. - Coordinate daily tasks and lead a team of landscapers and labourers. - Oversee project management, including the organisation and scheduling of activities. - Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. - Assist in the upkeep and presentation of public and private open spaces. Qualifications & Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in the horticulture or gardening industry (preferred). - Ability to lead and inspire team members to work effectively together. - Qualified Horticulturist preferred but not essential. - Current unrestricted Australian driver's licence (mandatory). - White Card (Construction Induction Safety Certificate). - ChemCert qualification (or willingness to obtain). - Experience using commercial landscaping equipment.
