About the Role
Are you a driven, resilient, and sales-focused professional looking to build a high-performing desk in the dynamic South Australian Public Sector?
We are looking for a dedicated Recruitment Consultant to join our Adelaide team and focus on the Policy, Strategy, and Projects desk. Working alongside the Public sector team, you will be responsible for providing recruitment solutions to State Government and Local Government (Councils).
This desk is typically weighted toward Contract/Temporary placements but also includes a component of Permanent recruitment.
Key Responsibilities
* Business Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with contacts across State Government (complementing current work) and Local Government (Councils).
* Recruitment: Source and place professional-level candidates (ASO5 equivalent and above) into complex Policy and Project roles, such as:
o Policy Formation/Review
o Project Implementation and Change Management
o Regulatory and Evaluation roles
* Candidate Management: Conduct targeted headhunting, market scans, and manage a long list of high-calibre candidates.
What We're Looking For
* Essential Sales Drive: A proven background in Business-to-Business (B2B) Sales is highly regarded, as this is a core skill.
* Learning Mindset: A genuine willingness to quickly learn and understand the nuances of various public sector policy and project roles.
* Sales Orientation: While recruitment experience is a bonus, we are open to sales professionals from outside the industry who demonstrate the right drive and commitment.
