We're seeking a
Solutions Sales Officer
to join a well-established WA construction/industrial supply business This is a proactive, technically focused role - not your typical customer service or reactive order processing role - with a strong emphasis on outbound sales, solution development, and account growth. Based in Jandakot.
The role
You'll contribute to the growth of customer relationships primarily via
phone and email
, acting as a technical point of contact across engineered product and fabrication-related solutions. Occasional site visits may be required and will be supported by the Sales Manager - you'll recieve on the job training and support
Key responsibilities
* Build and expand a customer portfolio through proactive outbound calls and email outreach
* Deliver technical guidance and solutions support across engineered product offerings
* Assist with product selection, specification requirements, and value-engineered project outcomes
* Spot growth opportunities within existing accounts and reconnect with dormant customers
* Coordinate the preparation of quotes, present proposals, and manage follow-ups alongside internal teams
* Keep CRM/system records up to date, including customer details, pricing, and sales activity
* Work closely with the wider team, contributing insights and supporting a positive, collaborative culture
About You
* Background in technical sales / solutions sales / proactive account management (industrial supply, engineering, fire services, mechanical/plumbing or similar)
* Strong technical aptitude and confidence explaining solutions to customers
* Comfortable influencing and building relationships remotely (phone/email)
* Strong organisation skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
* Solid Excel and general computer skills
* Team-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive
* Highly regarded: experience with fire services, pipe fabrication, engineered supports, or grooved coupling systems.
