Why you will love this opportunity as Technical Consultant at Civica
This role sits at the intersection of deep technical expertise and real-world impact. As a Senior Technical Consultant, you own the design, build, and lifecycle management of complex customer environments that underpin critical public services. The work is hands‐on, technically challenging, and directly aligned to customer success outcomes.
You operate across the full project lifecycle, partnering closely with project managers, software engineers, and customer technical teams to ensure environments are robust, secure, observable, and release‐ready. You influence how environments are designed, how releases are delivered, and how reliability is measured and improved over time.
The role provides exposure to modern cloud‐native engineering practices, infrastructure as code, CI/CD automation, and site reliability engineering within large‐scale, mission‐critical platforms. You contribute to continuous improvement, mentor others, and help shape operational standards in a collaborative, blameless engineering culture.
Civica operates in a global environment, offering variety, complexity, and the opportunity to support customers delivering essential services. Travel to customer sites may form part of this role, and flexibility to support global delivery outside standard hours is expected.
