As a Business Trainee at Gladstone Engineering Alliance (GEA), you will play a vital front-facing and operational support role within a dynamic and professional team. This position is ideal for a motivated individual looking to build a solid foundation in business administration while gaining real-world experience across a diverse range of office and event functions.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality customer service as the first point of contact for the organisation—handling enquiries professionally via face-to-face interaction, phone, and email, and ensuring visitors are welcomed and directed appropriately. You will also provide essential administrative and reception support to senior staff, including call handling, scheduling meetings, taking messages, and supporting event coordination.
The Business Trainee will assist with managing internal room bookings and logistics, coordinate external room hire—including invoicing and catering—and help prepare meeting spaces for both internal and external use. You will also support the smooth running of GEA events, both in-office and on location, contribute to basic collateral design tasks, and assist with the administration of Yaralla Lifestyle memberships.
Throughout the traineeship, you will complete both on-the-job and formal off-the-job training requirements necessary to obtain your business qualification, with full support from the GEA team.
