A Top ASX Listed company is investing in a major modernisation program to uplift its data platforms and improve reliability across core operational and customer systems. We're seeking a hands-on SQL Developer / ETL Engineer to join an established delivery team, working across a high-volume integration and migration stream. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building robust SQL-driven transformations, solving complex data challenges, and delivering clean, reconciled datasets into downstream platforms.
What you'll be doing
Designing and building SQL-heavy ETL pipelines across multiple source systems
Developing and optimising stored procedures, transformations, and data validation logic
Supporting data migration delivery including profiling, reconciliation and defect resolution
Producing clear source-to-target mapping and supporting technical documentation
Working closely with engineers, analysts and stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose outcomes
Improving performance, reliability and maintainability of existing ETL workflows
What we're looking for
Strong hands-on experience as a SQL Developer / ETL Developer / Data Engineer
Deep SQL capability (T-SQL / stored procedures / optimisation / complex transformations)
Experience delivering ETL pipelines and data movement across enterprise environments
Exposure to migration programs (data quality, reconciliation, cutover support, mapping)
Cloud exposure across Azure / AWS / GCP (any is fine)
Strong communication and ability to work in delivery teams
Nice to have (not essential)
SSIS, Informatica, ADF, Databricks, dbt or similar tools
Scheduling / orchestration exposure (Control-M, Autosys, Airflow etc.)
Experience working with high-volume customer or billing-style datasets
