About Senior Accountant roles

Key Responsibilities
1. Manage customer portfolios, providing tax advice on self-managed super funds and trusts, and lodge Business Activity Statements for local businesses.
2. Ensure business transactions are accurately recorded and reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
3. Collaborate with team members to support the month-end close process.
4. Assist with the annual audit process, including draft financial statements and related notes.
5. Analyse expense variances for senior management.
6. Perform other administrative tasks as required.
Essential Qualifications
1. A minimum of five years' experience with self-managed super funds, trusts, and an understanding of Business Activity Statements.
2. Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) certification is mandatory.
3. Preferred experience with cloud-based tools, including SuperMate, Accounting, and Timesheets products.
This role offers a salary package of $100k to $120k plus superannuation benefits.
The position is full-time, based at our office location in Bundaberg. Overseas applicants will not be considered.
