About the Role
As a Services Assistant you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality catering cleaning and general support services within the health unit. Your duties will include preparing serving and delivering meals to clients, performing housekeeping tasks and ensuring all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
You may also assist with laundry duties supporting the smooth operation of daily services and contributing to a positive experience for all who access the facility. Your reliability, attention to detail and commitment to excellence will help ensure the highest standard of care and comfort for our community.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in housekeeping, cooking/catering and laundry.
* Experience in the use of computer packages e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel.
* Experience exercising own judgment and initiative in the day-to-day execution of a position.

Applicant Information
This is a part time vacancy working 56 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.

Appointment Requirements
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements:
National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (e.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients).
Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A.
SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
