Position Overview
A number of part‐time (0.2 – 0.5 FTE) fixed‐term education focused roles are available until December 2026 as Postgraduate Fellows at the Sydney School of Health Sciences. Positions are located in the Susan Wakil Health building on the Camperdown Campus. Base salary starts from $83,454 + 17% superannuation (pro rata).
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake teaching in the discipline, contributing to outstanding teaching and learning outcomes.
* Engage in high‐quality teaching and learning experiences that meet the University's expectations and standards.
* Carry out administrative tasks primarily connected with your teaching area and discipline.
* Contribute to a positive workplace culture that values diversity, collaboration, excellence and achieving outcomes.
* Understand and contribute to furthering the university and faculty strategic agenda.
* Undertake other duties appropriate within the classification level as required.
Qualifications and Experience
* Currently enrolled as an MPhil or PhD student (full‐time or part‐time) at the University of Sydney.
* Demonstrated clear understanding of subject matter within the discipline.
* Research supervisor endorsement for the role.
* On track to complete studies before the end of the contract.
* Experience in teaching and learning, evidenced by participation in teaching within an established programme and in a variety of settings.
* Experience in designing, implementing and evaluating teaching and learning initiatives as a team member.
* Developing knowledge and understanding of key strategic issues in the discipline and higher education sector.
Additional Requirements
* Unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of employment; visa sponsorship is not available.
* Employment is conditional upon satisfactory completion of all required pre‐employment checks.
