The Medical Administration and Reception Officer works across our Broadmeadows and Mill Park GP Super clinics and provides reception and administration support to our team of GPs and Medical Specialists.
Responsibilities
- Providing timely access to appointments for patients, via the telephone or face‑to‑face
- Providing accurate and efficient administrative support
- Accurate completion of billing processes
- Using Best Practice and Trakcare to create and maintain accurate patient records
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working within a customer service role
- The ability to communicate effectively with people from a range of cultural backgrounds
- An understanding of what constitutes excellent customer service
- A willingness to continually strive to improve the systems and processes within your role
- The ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Competent computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs
Fine Print
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check, International Police Check (if applicable), and hold a valid WWCC.
- Full driver licence and travel between sites required (or ability to travel as required)
