We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic dietitian to provide high-quality nutrition care through home visits and telehealth consultations in the Bendigo region.
This role is ideal for a dietitian who is passionate about providing support to children with selective eating, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and eating disorders. The successful candidate will have:
* Experience and skills in delivering tailored nutrition care that caters to diverse client needs.
* A strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks effectively to manage a varied workload.
* Flexibility to travel within the Bendigo area and surrounding regions (maximum of 1 hour travel each way).
The key responsibilities include:
* Conducting a mix of home visits and telehealth consultations, adapting to changing client needs and circumstances.
* Managing own appointment schedule to ensure seamless delivery of services, while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
* Delivering tailored nutrition care in clients' homes or agreed meeting places, promoting positive outcomes and empowering clients to make informed choices.
The compensation package includes travel time compensation, paid for last-minute cancellations, and reimbursement for travel expenses. To be considered for this role, applicants must hold Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status with Dietitians Australia, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, ABN, public indemnity & liability insurance, and a valid driver's licence.
Additional details include primarily serving clients funded by the NDIS or Aged Care Packages, no senior dietitian mentoring or supervision, and a 3-month probation period.
