Consultant Anaesthetist – Perioperative & Pain Medicine Interest South-West Coast, Victoria | Regional Referral Hospital
The Opportunity Sante Recruitment is partnering with a major regional health service in south-west Victoria to appoint a Consultant Anaesthetist with an interest in Perioperative and/or Pain Medicine.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing anaesthesia service, delivering care across a diverse and expanding surgical program. You will work within a collaborative specialist team, supporting safe perioperative pathways, acute pain services, and ongoing surgical service development.
The role offers strong scope to develop subspecialty interests while contributing to high-quality regional healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities
Deliver anaesthesia across a
broad perioperative caseload, including:
General surgery
Orthopaedics
Obstetrics & gynaecology
Emergency surgery
Procedural sedation
Contribute to
perioperative medicine and acute pain management
Support development of
pain medicine and perioperative services
Participate in
teaching and supervision
of trainees and junior staff
Engage in
clinical governance and service development
