Your New Role
As their asset base continues to grow, the have the opportunity to add a Senior Asset Engineer to the team, to continue to meet their ongoing asset management commitments. As the Senior Asset Engineer you will provide operational and asset management support across multiple BESS assets, which is a critical part of their growth strategy. Key responsibilities, include:
* Develop transition-to-operations and commissioning plans for the assets
* Work closely with project teams during construction and commissioning to ensure effective operability
* Travel to sites to assess build quality and progress
* Manage contracts and contractors during operations
* Optimise asset performance and report to senior management
* Support due diligence for new acquisitions
This is hands-on work with real responsibility. You'll be involved from construction through to operations, ensuring assets deliver maximum value and reliability. This position is offered on a permanent, full time position, based out of their Melbourne head office.
Your Skillset
* Engineering degree, ideally in either electrical or mechanical
* Circa 5–10 years' experience in asset management/operations
* Ideally experience with renewable energy assets, in particular BESS.
* Strong technical problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
* Be independent, collaborative, and culture-focused
