WHS Business Partner: Community Safety LeaderWe're hiring a WHS Business Partner to be our proactive, safety leader across our diverse community sites, including libraries and community centres for a metro council.This role is about building capacity and being a trusted partner who is out in the community daily, directly liaising with staff, contractors, and volunteers to ensure their well being.
You will be an integral part of our People and Culture team.Key Focus AreasPsychosocial Risk Management: Be the key resource for identifying, assessing, and implementing strategies to support the mental and emotional well being of the community staff and volunteers.On Site Risk Assessment: Conduct and review risk assessments, particularly for contractors and volunteers across various sites, ensuring practical compliance and safe work.Safety Partnership: Provide expert advice and direction to all levels of the business, developing and implementing action plans tailored to the community setting.What You'll NeedProven experience in a WHS role with a focus on psychosocial hazards and practical risk management.Essential: Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.A highly proactive and collaborative approach with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders (a must for this community-focused role).
