Job Description:
The Principal Legal Officer will provide high-quality, strategic legal advice and assistance to various agencies within the department. They will lead negotiations with native title groups and be responsible for the day-to-day management of native title claims.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have:

* Highly developed interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and influencing capabilities
* Strong intellectual and analytical skills
* Prior experience in providing high-level legal advice in a statutory context, including native title law
