. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will have full accountability for the day-to-day operation of the grocery department and overall store leadership in the Store Manager's absence.
We are a leading Queensland-based supermarket group, operating six stores across South East Queensland. We pride ourselves on providing fresh, high-quality, locally sourced products to our customers seven days a week.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the overall operations of the grocery department
Monitor and maintain stock levels and merchandising standards
Lead, coach, and mentor a small team
Ensure accurate pricing and execution of promotional activities
Minimise waste and drive operational efficiency
Communicate effectively with suppliers, store management, and the support office
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, ticketing, and presentation
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in an FMCG management or supervisory role
Strong leadership, organisational, and time-management skills
A proactive and hands-on management style
A passion for customer service and food retail
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
Must successfully complete a
National Police Check
