About the Role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, we are seeking a self-driven and motivated driver to join our team in Paget. The successful person will be required to accurately deliver temperature-controlled orders to a variety of customers in and around the Mackay region.
Enjoy being home every night and every weekend with a Monday to Friday roster.
The role involves; multi-drop, money handling and hand offloading. This is a physical role with some heavy lifting.
Training in our in-house systems will be provided.
Duties:
* Operate the company vehicle in a safe manner and undertake multi drop deliveries
* Keep your vehicle clean and presentable and ensure relevant maintenance and safety checks are carried out regularly
* Hand un-load, which may include money handling
* Provide exceptional customer service
* Busy, multiple drop delivery role, which includes hand unloading in and around Mackay
* Adhere to time constraints and maintain product integrity
Skills and Experience required:
* HR/MR Licence (Car licence welcome to apply)
* QLD Police Clearance Check
* Current Influenza Vaccination
* Forklift Licence (Not essential)
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work in a deadline driven environment
* Previous delivery experience desirable
* Physically able to load/un-load delivery vehicles
