The team is based in Kalgoorlie and lawyers travel on circuits to remote communities such as Warakurna, Blackstone, Esperance, Leonora, Laverton and Warburton.Responsibilities • Managing a file load which may consist of various legal matters for parties including family law, child protection, family violence restraining orders, or providing duty lawyer legal advice or task assistance for clients with complex needs. Negotiations, advice and court appearances in the Family Court of WA, the Children's Court of WA and the Magistrates Court of WA are part of these roles. • The role may also allow the successful candidate to undertake some criminal law work if the successful candidate has an interest in criminal law.About you The ideal candidate would have post‐admission experience (preferably in family law, but not essential), an interest in working in a regional area and be a natural team player.
