BM Workshop BM Workshop is seeking a qualified Motor Mechanic (General) to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing vehicle faults, performing mechanical repairs, and conducting routine servicing while ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications and workshop standards. * Inspecting vehicles and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and testing equipment
* Conducting logbook servicing and scheduled maintenance on petrol and diesel vehicles
* Repairing or replacing worn or defective parts including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering and suspension systems
* Performing engine management diagnostics and fault finding
* Dismantling and reassembling engine assemblies and other mechanical components
* Carrying out brake repairs, suspension work, and component adjustments
* Testing and adjusting repaired systems to ensure correct performance
* Maintaining service documentation and workshop records
* Following workplace health and safety procedures within the workshop Qualification & experience Relevant automotive trade qualification such as Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
* Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience as a Motor Mechanic (General)
* Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
* Experience using modern automotive diagnostic tools and equipment
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a workshop team
* Commitment to quality workmanship and safe work practices
