What You'll Be Doing
* Be the welcoming face of our centre, greeting patients and families with warmth and professionalism
* Coordinate vital treatment appointments and manage referrals across clinics and surgical services
* Provide empathetic support to patient queries, both in person and over the phone
* Ensure accurate billing and handle daily financial transactions
* Maintain up-to-date patient records and track progress throughout treatment
* Use your knowledge of medical terminology and claims processes (Medicare, Private Health Insurance, DVA) to streamline care
What We're Looking For
You're a detail-oriented, compassionate individual who thrives in a fast-paced medical environment. You bring strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a genuine commitment to patient care.
Your Experience Includes
* Previous experience in hospital, medical practice, or day procedure reception
* Familiarity with electronic practice management systems
* Strong understanding of medical reception and inpatient services
* Ability to manage time independently and work collaboratively
* Proficiency in Windows-based programs (Email, Word)
* Basic knowledge of medical billing and health insurance claims
