As the business continues to grow, they are seeking a Key Account Manager / Business Development Manager to join their VIC team. This is a relationship driven sales role – it's an opportunity to partner with clients and distribution networks to create win-win outcomes, build long-term relationships, and deliver tailored finance solutions that truly make a difference.
The Role
In this role, your focus will be divided across nurturing and growing relationships within a select group of long-term, high-value vendor partners - while also identifying and building new relationships across Print, IT, and Technology industries with businesses looking for a trusted Finance Partner.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Strengthening and expanding relationships with platinum vendor partners
* Identifying, engaging, and securing new clients across Print, IT, and Technology industries
* Providing product training and support to partner staff
* Helping partners increase their sales by delivering the right payment solutions for their clients
* Structuring and quoting finance transactions to meet client needs
* Managing your pipeline and driving performance against sales targets
This is a key role where you'll balance autonomy with support – working from your home office, with the flexibility to hot-desk at partner sites across Melbourne.
About You
We're looking for someone who combines proven Relationship Management & Business Development skills with the right mindset. You'll bring:
* Experience in asset finance, commercial lending, or related products is ideal. Alternatively you may come from the Print or Technology industry itself with the desire to transition into a more Finance focused BDM role.
* 5+ years in business development, account management, or sales with strong track record of success.
* Commercial acumen and a genuine client-first approach
* Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative nature
* Confidence with Microsoft products and strong communication skills
