Making Music Academy is growing, and we're looking for passionate, reliable, and engaging teachers to join our team We bring the joy of music directly into students' homes and also teach from our Cottesloe teaching space, where we hold group lessons.
We believe learning music should be accessible, fun, and tailored to every student's needs and goals.

About the role:
* Teach beginner to intermediate students (primarily school-aged, with some adults).
* Deliver 20–60 minute lessons at students' homes. Also opportunity to co-teach from our Cottesloe teaching space for group lessons.
* Teach within one suburb per day, with most students located around the Mosman Park area. We can build a schedule around your local area too.
* Hours are typically between 3:30pm – 7:00pm on weekdays, 1–2 days per week to start, with the opportunity to take on more days.
* Plan your lessons with guidance from our flexible, student-oriented curriculum.
* Casual employment with competitive hourly pay + superannuation, plus paid work-related travel.
* No work is required during school holidays, but optional opportunities are available to continue teaching and engaging with students if you wish.
Requirements:
Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
Driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
Music degree, teaching qualification, or demonstrated teaching experience.
Strong musical skills, with exam experience in your instrument an advantage.
We have students ready to start on Mondays and Thursdays in Term 4, with some flexibility based on the teacher's availability and our students' schedules. We also have new enquiries coming in now, offering the opportunity to begin immediately on your preferred days.
