Maintenance Electrician - Day/Afternoon Rotating Shift | Industrial Automation & Sortation
Location: Redbank
Shift Pattern:
- Week 1 - M-F - 5am - 1pm
- Week 2 - M-F - 1pm - 9pm
Our client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to ensure the productive operation of its automated sortation systems and depot equipment. This role involves executing planned maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to maximise equipment reliability and throughput.
Key Responsibilities
- Planned Maintenance: Carry out preventative, predictive, corrective, and project-based maintenance tasks.
- Rapid Fault Correction: Diagnose and resolve breakdowns quickly to minimise operational downtime.
- System Optimisation: Collaborate on engineering improvements to boost efficiency and reliability.
- Equipment Servicing: Maintain and repair automated sortation systems and freight handling machinery.
- Procedure Development: Assist in developing structured maintenance procedures and schedules.
- CMMS Usage (MEX): Accurately record maintenance activities in the MEX system and ensure full utilisation of its features.
To Be Successful You Will Have
- Electrical trade qualifications and licensing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Experience with automated sortation or similar high-speed equipment.
- Competency with maintenance software (MEX preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a high-performing team.
