An opportunity has come up for an experienced Head of Sourcing and Procurement to join the Powerhouse team. The role will see you develop the Sourcing and Procurement function strategy, framework and operating model, leading a team to complete Sourcing and Procurement activities to support business operations and enable Powerhouse to achieve the objectives of the Renewal program. You will also drive the uplift of Powerhouse's procurement function to enable the organisation to procure more efficiently and effectively in a controlled and compliant way that is aligned to Powerhouse Procurement Policy and NSW Procurement Policy Framework.

Powerhouse Museum is located at the intersection of arts, design, science, and technology and plays a critical role in engaging communities with contemporary ideas and issues. It is the custodian of more than half a million objects of national and international significance and is considered one of the finest and most diverse collections in Australia. We are undertaking a landmark $1.3 billion infrastructure renewal program, led by the creation of Powerhouse Parramatta; expanded research and public facilities at Powerhouse Castle Hill; the heritage revitalisation of the iconic Powerhouse Ultimo; and the ongoing operation of Sydney Observatory.
