Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is partnering with a local mining operation to secure an experienced Finance Officer to join their onsite team in Moranbah.
This is a part-time position ****** hours per week), offering flexibility around days worked.
About the Role
Reporting to the onsite leadership team, you will support day-to-day financial activities including OPEX and cost reporting, general bookkeeping, and asset reporting.
You'll also assist with budgeting and forecasting cycles and provide administrative support where required.
Key Responsibilities
Manage operational expenditure (OPEX) tracking and cost reporting
Perform general bookkeeping and financial record maintenance
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
Support reporting and management of depreciating assets
Prepare and maintain financial data using SAP and Excel
Provide other administrative and finance support as required
About You
Previous experience in a Finance, Accounts, or Bookkeeping role (resources sector experience advantageous)
Strong proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel
High attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy
Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
