We have an incredible opportunity for a motivated and talented Mechanical Fitter to join our team as a Field Service Technician in Perth.
This is a hands-on customer service position, ideal for a self-motivated and customer-focused individual. You'll play a vital role in providing 24/7 national support, covering contract repairs, preventative maintenance, installations, and emergency breakdown services for Dematic customers in the Perth region.
Hours of Work : this position will require participation in an on-call roster and due to production constraints with some customers - will require availability to work overtime on weekends and public holidays as needed.
Tasks and Qualifications:
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES:
Will Possess The Following Qualifications & Experience
1. Mechanical Fitter trade qualifications
2. Restricted Electrical licence, or ‘A’ Grade Electrical License would be highly advantageous
3. PLC experience with Siemens S7 and/or Scada WIN CC
4. Experience within automation environments (particularly conveyors) and material handling equipment would be a strong advantage
5. Experience with computerised maintenance systems (such as; MEX, Maximo, SAP)
6. Experience with pneumatic systems and components
7. Experience with hydraulic systems and components
8. Maintenance experience within high speed production facilities, including exposure to; welding repairs, machining, repair and replacement of electro-mechanical components
9. Ability to work unsupervised, make decisions and be results driven
10. Strong customer focus and attention to detail with all tasks
11. Strong understanding of OHS requirements and adopt safe work practices
12. Current driver’s license
13. Excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills
14. The ability to develop and maintain effective on-going relationships
