Job Title: Recreation Services Coordinator
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Recreation Services Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our water sports and pool & beach departments, ensuring that all guests have an exceptional experience.
* Engage with guests and employees around the hotel, focusing on the water sports and pool & beach areas to meet their expectations.
* Assist with managing the day-to-day operations of the water sports and pool & beach departments.
* Support the Leisure Services team in coordinating and executing a structured children's program.
* Assist with coordinating and executing a rainy-day program.
* Work closely with the Department Head to budget for the department.
* Ensure accurate and timely completion of accruals and payroll.
* Forecast for the department.
* Coordinate training sessions for the team on a monthly basis.
* Maintain the cleanliness of the pool, pool terrace, guest-room decks, north & south beach, water sports facilities, designated children's area, and related equipment.
* Conduct daily quality control inspections of all areas.
* Coordinate staffing to support the daily needs of the department.
* Prepare and update procedural manuals, colleague checklists, and daily task lists.
* Assist with resolving conflicts within the department.
* Conduct daily briefings and assist with monthly departmental meetings.
* Assist with Beach Club membership administration.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A university degree or diploma in Tourism or Hotel Management.
* A Certificate in Supervisory Management.
