Improve Lives as a Mental Health Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Hyson Green in Canberra. As a mental health specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with patients and their families to provide professional health services that include assessment, formulation, counselling, therapeutic intervention, case management, consultation and referrals.
About the Role
* Provide professional health services including assessment, formulation, counselling, therapeutic intervention, case management, consultation and referrals.
* Develop and deliver group therapy programmes and therapeutic interventions for clients attending Hyson Green Day Programme and/or In-Patient programme.
* Consult and liaise with other health professionals and external agencies to ensure ongoing support for patients during their recovery.
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in Psychology (no provisionally registered psychologists please).
* Professional registration with AHPRA to practice as a psychologist.
* Demonstrated clinical experience including skills in assessment, treatment, therapeutic intervention, group work, case management and casework.
* Able to design and deliver effective group programmes for patients and their families.
