We're looking for a motivated Trade Representative to join our team and help grow our trade business through strong customer relationships and proactive sales.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers alike.
* Drive sales growth through account management and outreach
* Processing sale orders, quotes, & invoicing in an accurate, efficient & prompt manner
* Handle customer queries & complaints in a professional and helpful manner
* Attend trade mornings and industry events to represent our brand
* Use computer systems to manage customer accounts and transactions efficiently
* Stay informed on product ranges and market trends
What You'll Bring:
* Experience in trade sales, hardware, or building supplies (preferred)
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Solid computer literacy (POS systems, quoting tools)
* Ability to work as part of a team
* High level of verbal & written communication & numeracy skills
* Effective time management skills
* A proactive, customer-first attitude
* Knowledge of local trade and construction industries
* Current driver's licence
