Overview

Managing and maintaining a mix of owned properties and leased premises within the NSW/NT region (or as allocated) on a day‐to‐day basis to support the service delivery functions of Tabcorp occupying the premises and ensuring compliance with performance expectations. The role will assume overall responsibility for site budgets, accounting and finance, maintenance and operations, contract services, purchasing of material, equipment & supplies, occupancy services and helpdesk. The portfolio will include approximately 90 retail sites and two commercial/corporate sites. Based at the client's new corporate office at Darling Park, Sydney.

Responsibilities

* Engage with team members; ensure effective communication with the FM team, JLL leasing and JLL support services; complete all relevant reporting requirements on time (compliance reporting, monthly reports, contractor spot checks).
* Partner with clients and stakeholders; proactively engage to meet on‐site expectations; build and develop relationships at all levels.
* Act as key point of contact for facilities within the client's portfolio.
* Manage vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery within budget; ensure procurement processes comply with client guidelines and JLL best practice.
* Plan, manage and monitor contracts; initiate re‐procurement when required; continually assess contracts to deliver best value.
* Control financial operations; meet or exceed targets; follow the JLL Code of Ethics and financial processes; contribute to budgeting.
* Maintain a safe work environment; comply with health and safety guidelines and policies.
* Recommend continuous quality improvement practices and implement industry best practices; maintain building procedures, performance measures and Critical Environment (CEM) requirements; review operations to reduce costs.
* Support 24/7 emergency call; attend sites as required; manage work orders; serve as 2nd‐in‐command for critical sites; conduct site inspections of all allocated properties; perform any other reasonable tasks.
* Implement and maintain JLL Operational Risk Management (ORM); ensure disaster recovery and business continuity plans; follow escalation procedures and incident reporting.
* Adhere to JLL's business conduct and compliance guidelines.

* Minimum bachelor's degree in facilities management, building, business, or related field and/or 5+ years' experience in facilities, property management, hospitality, or related field.
* Experience working in critical environments.
* Knowledge of local occupational health and safety requirements; knowledge of critical facilities.
* Knowledge of vendor management for specialized services; understanding of basic technical aspects of property (computing room AC, chiller system, fire protection system, mechanical & electrical system, BMS).
* Proven capacity to understand and interpret commercial contracts; strong budget management and financial analysis skills.
* Travel required, including potentially interstate.
* Valid driver's licence.
