Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to help individuals with disabilities get more out of life.
This role involves ensuring individual plans reflect the passions and interests of our participants, promoting their quality of life, and building the knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those important to them.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year's Behaviour Support experience, a relevant qualification in allied health or social care, and eligibility to register with the relevant membership body. They will also be eligible to be registered with the NDIS Quality & Safeguarding Commission as a PBS Practitioner.
Key responsibilities include assisting individuals and their families to identify needs through assessment and person-centred planning, developing Behaviour Support Plans using a positive behaviour support framework, and working collaboratively within a small cohesive team environment.
