This company is searching for a roofer to fill a position within the business. They are one of the leading roofing companies in South Canberra. They have indicated they need someone who is willing to work hard and eager to learn.
**Your new role**
The role will mainly comprise supporting the efforts of the tight-knit team. Your role will include:
- Conducting manual labour
- Moving Colour bond sheets
- Installing Colour bond sheets
- Remove and replace damaged roofing materials
- Installing flashing
- Measuring/Cutting Colour bond sheets
- Clean/maintain roofs and sites
- Working at heights
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Willingness to learn
- Active Listening
- Demonstrate previous experience carrying out rigorous manual handling
- Must have Asbestos Awareness, White Card, Crystalline Silica Exposure Awareness and working at heights tickets.
- Reliable transportation is also mandatory.
