YOUR ROLE
As a Mid-Market Account Executive you will drive growth across the Federal government mid-market segment.
Working closely with Portfolio Client Executives and the Mid-Market Sales Leader, you’ll play a pivotal part in expanding Thales’ presence within the enterprise and government sectors while receiving ongoing mentorship and professional development.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and grow a portfolio of mid-market and enterprise accounts, driving revenue end-to-end.
- Develop and execute strategic account and territory plans to achieve sales targets.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across your assigned portfolio.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Collaborate across marketing, pre‑sales, bid, and delivery teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
- Provide accurate forecasting, maintain CRM discipline, and manage procurement and legal processes.
What You’ll Bring
- Demonstrated success in Federal or mid‑market sales, ideally within cybersecurity or IT services.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity offerings, from consulting and integration to managed services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and build executive relationships.
- Proficiency with CRM and forecasting tools; strong commercial acumen.
- Australian citizenship with eligibility for security clearance.
