Requirements:
* Min 2 years' experience within Commercial Construction HSE Space
* Cert IV or Diploma Work Health Safety
* Possess a valid WA Manual Drivers Licence
* Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
* Sound computer literacy with word processing, spreadsheets, and HSEQ software systems
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Sound ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and complex problem solving
* Experience creating and implementing HSE processes
* Fully current on Health & Safety regulations and Work Health and Safety legislation.
* Exposure investigating incidents utilising the ICAM methodology/ 5 Whys etc.
* Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders of the business
Key Responsibilities:
* Support company operations in all aspects of HSEQ as required
* Manage the incident investigation and emergency response program, acting as the lead investigator for all incidents, coordinating and developing effective actions to prevent re-occurrence
* Positively influence, and advise workforce on Health and Safety requirements under Workplace Health & Safety Legislation
* Undertake construction project audits to ensure contractors and workers are complying with all requirements of the specific Project HSEQ Management Plan and Federal Safety Commission requirements
* Designing, developing and delivering training programs to support the company's Safe system of work
* Developing and maintaining HSEQ documentation to ensure continuous improvement in HSEQ and training as applicable
* Collating HSEQ data, developing risk mitigation strategies, delivering presentations and reports to executive management and other stakeholders
* Advise on relevant WHS legislation and review changes to legislative requirements for all states and territories of Australia and New Zealand is desirable
