About the role
TradeCo Building Services Pty Ltd is seeking a talented Stonemason to join our team in Adelaide, SA 5000. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in the construction and restoration of high-quality stone structures and architectural features. As an experienced Stonemason, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise and contribute to the delivery of exceptional building projects.
What you'll be doing
1. Cutting, shaping, and finishing stone materials to precise specifications for construction and restoration projects
2. Assisting with general trade duties to support the wider team when needed
3. Installing, repairing, and maintaining stone structures, facades, and decorative elements
4. Collaborating with the team to coordinate the integration of stonework with other building components
5. Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition
6. Ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards
What we're looking for
1. Formal qualification in stonemasonry or a related building trade
2. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Stonemason, with a demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality stone work
3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
4. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
5. Strong time management and organisational abilities
6. Commitment to workplace health and safety
7. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a construction team
