*About the opportunity*Airbus in Edinburgh is seeking applications from an Aircraft Life Support Technician (ALSE) to join our Surveillance & Response Maintenance Team.
*About the role*As an Aircraft Life Support Technician, your skills, experience and knowledge will be utilised to undertake aviation maintenance activities to meet the needs of Airbus Australia Pacific.This position works as part of the Airbus Australia Pacific Surveillance & Response Maintenance team based in Edinburgh and is required to conduct maintenance in accordance with all maintenance procedures as laid out within authorised Airbus Australia Pacific procedures, relevant maintenance manuals and Defence documentation.You'll report to the Team Lead Maintenance Support, responsible for ALSE maintenance activities on the P-8 A and MC-55 A platforms.
Your main responsibilities will include performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modifications, fault rectification and aircrew fitment in support of Surveillance & Response activities.
*About you*You're a qualified and capable Aircraft Life Support Technician with a strong safety mindset, technical expertise and a team-oriented attitude.To be successful, you'll bring:* Certificate III for Aircraft Life Support (or the ability to obtain) or above* Minimum 2 years' experience in a maintenance environment conducting Task Sign Off (TSO)* Demonstrated experience supporting a DASR 145 MO Quality System* Proven ability to deliver safe, effective maintenance outcomes* Strong technical knowledge and an ability to thrive in a dynamic AMO environment* Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach* *Eligibility for an Australian Government Security Clearance (must be an Australian citizen or dual national including Australia)**About Us*With employees at multiple sites across Australia and New Zealand, Airbus Australia Pacific draws on the strength and expertise of the global Airbus Group.
