Key Responsibilities
Manage fit-out of new and refurbished stores to approved program, budget, and scope.
Develop detailed staging plans and coordinate with store operations to minimise disruption.
Drive value-engineering initiatives to reduce capital costs per square metre without compromising quality.
Oversee contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Proactively manage risks, issues, and budgets with clear stakeholder communication.
Ensure compliance with OH&S policies, environmental planning acts, and relevant building codes.
Manage store closures and lease make-good requirements in line with agreements.
Successfully hand over completed projects to Store Managers and Maintenance teams.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Extensive experience in client-side project management of retail construction and fit-outs.
Tertiary qualifications in Building, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent (Diploma level desirable).
Strong knowledge of the Building Code of Australia, Environmental Planning & Assessment Acts, and relevant standards.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate diverse, multi-disciplinary project teams and external contractors.
High-level organisational and planning skills with ability to manage competing deadlines.
Experience navigating local government approvals (development, planning, construction).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders.
A collaborative mindset, building effective teams and fostering supplier relationships.
