Position Summary
Everfox is seeking an accomplished and ambitious Sales professional to help lead its focus on the federal government and defense market in Canberra. You will have a track record of successfully collaborating with Sales Engineers in taking innovative security and analytics solutions to the federal government and defense market in Australia, implementing large scale cyber security solutions. You will have a passion for helping customers solve difficult problems with innovative cyber products and/or services, ideally with a focus on insider threat, data protection, cloud security, and/or cross-domain solutions, and you will be used to the pace and language adopted within the federal government/IC to effectively sell our solutions.
This role will be consistently customer-facing, and you will be responsible for utilizing existing contacts and strategically prospecting to develop pipelines of new customers to demonstrate Everfox’s on-prem and cloud security products. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to collaboratively consult with business leaders to understand their challenges and clearly articulate solutions that are technically achievable, appropriate and proportionate to the client’s needs.
As an Account Exec in cybersecurity, you will be highly driven, sharp, technically literate, commercially astute and self-starting with the ability to articulately consult with both technical and non-technical stakeholders both internally and externally, whilst working almost entirely remotely. A technical background would be desirable, though not essential, but being highly personable and able to present to audiences and speak to people is critical.
Direction from the US will be limited due to time zone differences, so the role will require autonomy; the ideal candidate will be used to this arrangement. Due to sensitive customer requirements, applicants should be eligible for security clearance, or ideally already possessing a level of clearance (ideally at least NV1).
International travel is expected occasionally, typically once a quarter, but domestic travel could be more frequent.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify prospects that fit the target demographic to generate new business opportunities to fuel Everfox Solutions growth in Australia.
* Contact prospective customers to better understand their business challenges and identify opportunities for Everfox to solve them.
* Build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities such that the sales pipeline reflects the capability to meet and exceed sales goals on a quarterly and annual basis.
* Use product knowledge to showcase the solutions that our company can offer to prospects.
* Plan and prioritize sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving/exceeding assigned sales targets.
* Provide timely follow up, closure and tracking of all identified opportunities.
* Respond to and follow up on sales inquiries using appropriate methods.
* Provide regular business pipeline reports/forecasts for all business developed and closed.
* Execute and adhere to the sales process with particular attention to opportunity identification, qualification, and assessment for success.
* Work closely with appropriate channel partners to develop & close new business opportunities.
* Understand competitors’ strengths and weaknesses to effectively articulate the company’s competitive advantage.
* Attend events and conferences as required to support GTM activities.
Key Experience and Skills
* Eligible for security clearance; ideally, you will already be cleared to at least NV1.
* Strong experience in sales of critical cybersecurity solutions in Australia, consistently achieving against quota.
* Relationship management and account growth, along with new business sales experience.
* Ability to work as part of a small sales team to formulate account strategies.
* Experience with building strong relationships throughout the sales cycle with our customer’s technical staff.
* Deep knowledge of sales into federal government and defense, including language, who’s who, sales cycle, etc.
* Ability to articulate product positioning and competitive differentiation to both business and technical users, with SE support.
* Ideally, experience of positioning Global Security Portfolio that might include Insider Risk Management, Case Management, Content Disarm and Reconstruction (CDR), and Cross Domain Solutions (CDS).
* Comfortable with meeting and presenting to C-level/executive level contacts.
* Used to working with the Channel as well as developing business directly.
* Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
